Fabric of the Day : Oilcloth - "Mum's White"

Mum's White Oilcloth. Oilcloth is the fabric that has been making a bold color statement in our homes and has been for so many, many years. It comes in vibrant colors and used to cover our dining tables.

Oilcloth has a mesh backing, which means it can really hold a stitch. It can be used for anything that needs to be durable and colorful--tablecloths, upholstered dining room chairs, curtains, bibs, lampshades, tissue boxes, outdoor chairs, etc. The oilcloth of yesteryear was resin-coated vinyl and the finish sometimes cracked or flaked. The new version is made of hi-tech plastic that won't crack but has the same colorful shine. It wipes clean so it's practical, especially with children in the house. OilCloth is waterproof in addition to being stain and soil resistant. Fading may occur under intense direct sunlight for extended periods.

25-Feb-2024 :  Sunrise from my viewpoint this morning on the eighth Sunday of the year 2024 - 56/366 (weekend - 8/52). 

And while walking 30minutes after the actual sunrise -

24-Feb-2024 : And it started to drizzle after taking these images and could not go for my daily hourly morning walk. From my viewpoint this morning on the eighth Saturday of the year 2024 - 55/366 (weekend - 8/52).

23-Feb-2024 : I can now tell if the day is going to be hot or cool day just by looking at the sunrise. From my viewpoint this morning on the eighth Friday of the year 2024 - 54/366 (weekend - 8/52). 

22-Feb-2024 : It wasn't that much of a sunrise from my viewpoint this morning on the eighth Thursday  of the year 2024 - 53/366 (weekend - 8/52) so I took pictures while walking.

21-Feb-2024 : From my viewpoint on the eighth Wednesday of the year 2024 - 52/366 (weekend - 8/52). 

20-Feb-2024 : Third day in a row and my sunrise view from my viewpoint on the eighth Tuesday of the year 2024 - 51/366 (weekend - 8/52). 

19-Feb-2024 : Waited for almost an hour and still this is sunrise from my viewpoint on the eighth Monday of the year 2024 - 50/366 (weekend - 8/52).
