Handmade of the Day : Quilt/Wallhanging - "Embellished" Angel

This handquilted wallhanging measures 39cms x 32cms. Inner box measures 29.5cms x 23cms. Embellished angel measures 18cms x 18cms. Wings, shoes and halo are embellished with sequins, dress embellished with 2 buttons and headband made of lazy-daisy lace. Angel and dress are handquilted and edges of the wallhanging are double stitched. All 100% cotton, comes with a bonus dowel with stopends and a quilt label at the back of the wallhanging. Great to give to that someone special this Valentines Day.

Will this make a great  present this Valentines Day? A lavender heart with a rose made of felt attached to the heart. The heart is filled with 40gms of lavender enough to make that special person feel and smell the lavender scent. The heart measures about 16cms x 15cms and comes with a tag for easy hanging.

Or you can give a lavender greeting card with a blank inside panel for your personal valentine message. Lavender weighing about 40gms is used to shape the heart inside the card cut-out and is producing a raised effect of the image of the heart. The heart is stitched on the edges and the card comes with a matching white envelope for easy gift-giving.

10-Jan-2024 :  Second Wednesday of the year 2024's Sunrise. Just noticed while posting these images that the grass seems so green and the color around the sun a bit reddish.

09-Jan-2024 :  Waking up early to watch the sunrise gives me a chance to take care of my plants for about an hour or so before the sun really strikes hot as I cannot go back to sleep anymore. The air is still very cool. Today Tuesday's sunrise.
